About The Studio

Greetings,

Founded in 1996, Haunted Pixel Studio is a showcase for my creations be they comic strips, sketches, audio shows or animation. A lot of people are curious as to how I came up with the name of the studio. It basically came from the idea that my work was made of pixels that were haunted since the majority of my comics at the time were Halloween themed. To tie into that idea, the main slogan of the site has been “Haunting your digital dreams” as I knew (back then) with the up-and-coming internet the studio’s future would be rooted deeply in online entertainment.

The core idea behind the studio, and all the work that I create, is to try and go where other people won’t with their content. Every new project is a chance to turn the establishment on it’s ear. Not just with shock value through violence, nudity or adult language, but by tackling ideas and concepts that many people simply won’t touch. While virtually every type of story has been told throughout the history of mankind, that doesn’t mean there is not some way to put a neat spin on an old thought to give it an appealing look to current audiences.

In addition to creating entertainment, I also work within more traditional media such as publishing and logo / product design. I have produced designs for thousands of satisfied clients over the years as well as for personal projects for my own creations.

While it is not the main focus of my studio efforts at this time, I have also ventured into other avenues such as 3d modeling, web design, animation and voice acting.

This site stands as a gallery of everything that makes the studio unique. It’s successes as well as it’s failures make a complete body of work that will hopefully be enjoyed for decades to come. I hope you enjoy a peek inside my head and I look forward to seeing you again soon.
