FEEDBACK: Do You Want More ReVamped?

As some of you may or may not know, I’ve been at this comics thing for a long time.

As a matter of fact, next year marks the 30th anniversary of my studio.  Not exactly a small milestone for an indie creator.

However, since I’ve been in the “industry” for so long, I’ve seen many trends come and go.  I’ve watched my own work see peaks and valleys as things become popular and then fade.

It used to be somewhat viable to create content just for the sake of it and share it “for free”.  Sadly, those days are quickly vanishing as monetization options have all but dried up for small creators like myself.  Most people don’t realize just how much money and time goes into running a studio like this and ultimately, even though I don’t like it, I’ve reached a point where I have to decide what I focus on based on the highest chance it’ll be popular and (maybe) help me pay some bills.

So I’m currently looking at setting up a Patreon where I will post new comics exclusive to paying members.  One of the series I’m considering is making The Deadlys: ReVamped a full time strip rather than the limited edition series it is now.

The question is: Would you be willing, honestly, to pay $5-6 a month to support the production of an on-going series like this.  You can see a solid selection of strips online right now that shows the quality and commitment I can bring but I can’t do it for free anymore.
